I am pleased to announce my retirement from consulting and that CCMI is no longer accepting clients. Thanks so much to the many companies we have had the privilege to serve over the past decade - from Amgen and Amtrak and AT&T to General Electric and Lucent Technologies, to Sara Lee and Zenith Electronics, and more ... A to Z ... your issues were challenging and hopefully our involvement helped to solve them and lead you to a more successful and profitable position.

And thanks, Karen; we did it together.

Yeah, made the number. Have enough frequent flier points banked. Punched out of the grind. Unplugged from the grid; well not really. Actually "busier now than I ever was when I was working" to borrow the great phrase I have heard from my father for many years. In this new phase of life I am now heavily involved in a range of non-profit, community service activities - giving back after being unable to realistically do so while flying every week to Minneapolis or reviewing twelve factories around the world over two weeks, or related fun and games.

So this site is now very limited.

Joe Frazier summed it up best. After a great heavyweight career that included the three classic match-ups with Muhammad Ali, when it was time to retire his official news conference statement consisted simply of "the time has come ... to hang up the gloves .... and boogie boogie boogie.
